Charles Mills and his agency Flotilla use video, animations and rich digital content to help businesses sell more.
Charles cut his marketing teeth running communications and visitor promotion campaigns for major international trade shows in the IT and manufacturing sectors. Since then he has been marketing director at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal Horticultural Society – where he helped launch the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and reshaped the visitor experience at the Chelsea Flower Show. As managing director of the digital division of the Twofour Group – the top TV production company – he was converted to the power of TV, creating video, online channels and innovative events for organisations such as Volkswagen, GSK and the Houses of Parliament.
These days, at Flotilla, Charles continues to help major brands – including Amazon, AXA and the NHS – to get their stories straight and then to transform them into beautiful, hard working films. As an Exhibitors Only associate, he draws on that rich experience to help exhibitors make the most of their participation in shows, maximising the power and cost-effectiveness for driving visitor attention and engagement.
